1059 Young Unknown Gull

Carrie Blake Park – Sequim, Washington
February 3, 2012

Don’t ask me why I take gull photos sometimes. Living on the coast in California and on Puget Sound in Washington, I see gulls all the time. I just looked out the window while typing this and see several gulls outside (mostly Glaucous-winged here at my home on Vaughn Bay) . When the spirit moves me the spirit moves me – I can’t explain why. As I’ve said many times before, I am not good with gull IDs, so I don’t have a clue what species of gull this is. I do better with adults, but still it’s a challenge. This particular bird just said photograph me. What can I say.
