It is a really exciting event when you see your first owl. Yes, we’ve seen owls before in zoos and even in the wild, but this was the first time since becoming a bird nerd. There were two little ones, but we only saw one of them. This is the first of two sets. The first photo was taken with my D80 and all the rest were digiscoped.
I wish I knew why my photos lighten up from the original when I post them for web use in Photoshop. It makes me mad!
